Biography


Edgar Wright was born on April 18, 1974 in a town called, Poole.  This English film maker begin his career in animation at a very young age.  He competed in a BBC contest and took first place in 1991 for his animation of I Want To Get Into Movies; this was before his ultimate switch to action movies.  Wright studied film at Bournemouth College of Arts where he created his first feature film at age 20.  He then landed a permanent job on the Paramount Comedy Channel as he created parodies of television series.   In 1999 Wright hit his breakthrough with the comedy series, Spaced, which was inspired by his favorite film makers.  Wright then released Shaun of the Dead  which captured the attention of viewers through romantic and comedic timings - this also included some zombie scenes!
